Sitar Piano allows you to play a piano keyboard with the sound of the unique instrument from the Indian sub-continent called the "Sitar". This is a traditional stringed instrument dating back since the Middle Ages. It looks similar to a guitar, but is plucked instead of strummed.

Although the stringed instrument is difficult to play, this one is much easier.

If you you like hindi music, or have travelled or live in India or Pakistan, or like the persian culture, you can attempt to play this instrument to re-create the traditional music.

The sitar has also been played in Western pop music by "The Beatles" (in "Norwegian Wood" and "Within You Without You") and "The Rolling Stones" (in "Paint it Black").

Usage note : for iPad users, please ensure the Mute is not selected (especially the settings for the side switch : Mute or Lock Rotation).
